Justice Achieved for the Elkhart 4

Thursday February 11, 2016 is the day that justice was achieved for the Elkhart 4.  Today Jose Quiroz appeared before an Elkhart judge and his murder conviction was vacated.  Jose was then sentenced to 10 years in prison for burglary.  With good time credit Jose is expected to be released in 2016 or early 2017. Jose is Back in Elkhart for a Court Hearing

February 10, 2016 — Jose Quiroz has been transported back to Elkhart County so he can attend a court hearing tomorrow. Records from the Elkhart County Sheriff Department show that Jose is currently being housed in their Elkhart facility. Three of the Elkhart 4 are Re-Sentenced

Today Blake Layman, Levi Sparks and Anthony Sharp were re-sentenced in Elkhart County. Blake Layman was given 10 years for burglary.     Levi Sparks was given 9 years for burglary. Anthony Sharp was given 10 years for burglary. There is a very good chance that Blake and Levi will leave prison in 2016.  Blake, Levi and Anthony were re-sentenced
